Welcome to our events page!  NH Hands and Voices strives to provide many opportunities for families to connect and have fun together.  We try to have at least four live events each year that vary in location throughout the state.  We hope you can join us for some or all of our upcoming events!

Zoom Parties

These groups are fun and quick and you can join right from home!  Keep an eye out on our Facebook page for the next zoom event, usually held on a weekend morning.  We play games, learn about our members and guests, and share resources as needed. This is a fun opportunity to see the silly side of our DHOH families!

Pen Pal Program

Sometimes lives can get busy. Sometimes people may be cautious in coming to a live event. Sometimes people have so much fun at an event and they want to continue the connection. The Pen Pal Program is an informal way for kids to connect with other kids through letters, drawings, and/or pictures. We try to connect kids based on age and interest level. Please email to join our pen pal program

Summer/fall Kick Off Event

August 7, 2021 – 10:00 – Noon

This is an annual event usually held at the beginning of the summer each year.  It typically takes place at a park in Merrimack and is filled with games, venders, people, and snacks!  Many times we have raffles and prizes!  This year we are holding our kick off a little later in the summer and calling it a “fall kick off”.  Although we hope to  return with venders next year, this year promises to be packed with games, prizes, and loads of fun!  Light refreshments, individually packaged will also be available.  Join us on August 7, 2021 from 10:00-12:00pm.  Watson Park (in the pavilion) 441 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH Please email with any questions.

Apple Picking

We hold this event in the fall as the apples are ready for picking and eating…yum!  We vary the location of this event so keep watch for the next flyer!  Given the timing of this event, it is perfect for families to connect about how school has been going for everyone and share any tips or tricks that have been helpful.  If your little one is not yet in school, this can be a great time to meet other families and get a little look into what might be coming up!

Who doesn’t love bowling?  All of our DHOH families are welcome to join as we take to the lanes at varying locations in NH.  This is a fun event for kids and families of all ages and a nice time to connect and share your experiences with others.  We typically hold this event in the winter time as it isn’t affected by the weather.  Keep an eye on our Facebook page for the next Bowling event!

The Seacoast Science Center has been a perfect place for a cookout/picnic by the water each year. Held in the spring, families can explore the ocean life, walking trails, and playground. Kids of all ages have fun exploring and connecting with one another. We look forward to seeing families again and again!

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much
